How Do I Know If I've Selected A Quality Nursing Home For My Loved One?
TRANSCRIPT: It's important to do walk-throughs of the facilities that you're considering. Go at unusual times. Go on weekends. Go in the evenings. Also interview. Interview as many people as you can. Interview the staff. Interview the administration. And talk to the residents. And talk to the resident's family. And see if they're satisfied with the care that they're receiving. And probably one of the most effective things that you can do is go on Medicare's website. Medicare has a 5-star rating program that's extremely comprehensive. What you'll find is that there are very, very few 5-star rated facilities out there. Again it's a grueling process, and you know that if you've found a facility that has a 4 or 5-star rating, at least it's probably one of the better facilities that's out there. If one of your loved ones has suffered injuries as a result of nursing home abuse, give us a call. We'd be happy to discuss your case. You can call us at (304) 345-1122. Or you can look us up on the web at www.troylawwv.com. Again remember there's absolutely no fee unless we get a recovery for you.
